Yesterday at the library, one of our clerks, Sandy, told me she had a woman ask for help finding books on how to have a book banned. (You might want to read that a couple of times; I had to hear it more than once to make sense of it.)
"So what did you tell her?" I asked.
"I really didn't want to help her, so I just sent her to the reference desk," Sandy said.
"You should have told her that we used to have a book about that," I said, "But someone complained."
